Brownfield High School seniors John Jennings Jeff Pemberton and Doug Simpson travel to Dallas for the All-State Band and Choir concerts. Jennings and Pemberton sing in the All-State Choir while Simpson plays tuba in the All-State Band and serves as choir alternated. Pvt Bobby Phillips, 23, son of Mr and Mrs C S Phillips of 301 West Ripley, was assigned to the 24th Transportation Company at Fort Eustis Virginia. A truck driver, he entered the Army last September, completed basic training at Fort Carson Colorado, and is a 1957 graduate of Turkey High School.
