4-H seeks land for educational farm and show facility in Terry County
Bradshaw outlined plans for a county owned plot of 3 to 5 acres to house a 4-H educational farm with an indoor arena, kitchen, wash area, and a test plot area for cotton projects. The project aims to serve 150 to 200 Terry County 4-H youths and community groups, with grants expected to cover $20,000 to $40,000 for the main facility and additional funds from donors for fencing and utilities. The commissioners will clear the ground, pens could be ready by next fall, and Austin grant processes are being pursued.
