Campaigns Begin for March 1998 County Elections

Garry Peebles notes filing opens Dec 3 and closes Jan 2 for the six county offices and district clerk. Democratic and Republican primaries set for March 10, with candidates required to name a campaign treasurer and pay a $600 or $300 filing fee. Local Goodfellows Continue Toy Drive in Terry County

The Brownfield Goodfellows finalize plans for their annual Toy Drive aiding underprivileged children. Each listed family receives a toy and a complimentary food box for a traditional Christmas dinner. Angel Tree aids Terry County youths this holiday season
