Churches rally for Goodfellows toy and food drive
Area churches and volunteers gather names of needy families for the Goodfellows program. About 200 families will receive food and at least one toy per child. Terry County ASCS Office Keeps Local Structure Unchanged
Terry County Ag officials say revamping and closing of over 1000 USDA offices won’t affect Brownfield offices for now. The Terry County ASCS and Farmers Home Administration now fall under the Farm Service Agency and stay in the ag building at 201 E Hill. The ASCS office has eight employees, FmHA three, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service also remains in the same building with three employees.

Brownfield High School Spirit of the Plains and Brownfield Middle School Red Express bands will present their annual Christmas concert on Tuesday December 13 at 6 30 PM in the BMS Auditorium. Directors Herrera Shipp and Bill Shipp lead both groups with selections including Jingle Bells Parade Twelve Days of Christmas and The Christmas Song. Admission is free and the public is invited.
