80 Students Named to Junior High Honor Rolls
Brownfield Junior High School reports 80 students on the second six weeks honor rolls. Seven seventh graders and ten eighth graders earned all A grades, with many more on the A B honor roll including numerous named students across grades. SANTA FE note follows about tortillas in Senate session.

Terry County Sheriff's Office November Report
The Terry County Sheriff's Department served 50 civil processes in November for 38.90 dollars. Six were out of county for 14.55 dollars. The department made 35 arrests in the county and three in other counties, totaling 38. Texas Highway Patrol made six arrests. City Police transferred four to the county. Sheriff’s vehicles logged 14 361 miles.

Cheaney Makes Official Visit to Brownfield Lions Club
Governor Pete Cheaney made an official visit to the Brownfield Lions Club on Wednesday to discuss “What Is Lionism.” Billie Moore chaired the program and introduced Mrs. Joan Luckie, who featured two voice students, Pam Moore and Jean Ann Jones, with several vocal selections. Doug Cox led the meeting as president with 63 attendees.
