Local patrolwoman says job is “All in the family”

Ruby Pearl Tootsie Collins 67 of Council Grove Kansas died August 16 in Council Grove Healthcare Center. Graveside services were held August 20 at Dunlap Cemetery Dunlap Kansas with Pastor Rick Neubauer officiating. She was born February 26 1940 in Hanford California to Venus Emmanuel Sparks and Frankie Reed Sparks. She married David Royce Collins October 26 1956 in Carlsbad New Mexico. She worked as a CNA and CMA at the Council Grove nursing home. Survivors include two sons David Kirt Collins and Royce Wayne Collins and their wives Barbara and Cheryl of Council Grove and Festus Missouri respectively, a daughter Alisa Maserang of Council Grove, a sister Nelda Wilson and her husband John of Council Grove, brothers Jimmy Judy of Lubbock and Marvin Waller and Fran of Justin, eight grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband and both parents.
