District Court Sentences Six Defendants This Week
Judge Moore presided over 121st District Court sentencing six defendants this week. Efrain Galvan Castro received 25 years TDJC for driving while intoxicated. Victor Cruz Garcia Jr and others faced varied terms for offenses including possession of forged instruments and cocaine. Community supervision terms were added for several, with sentences ranging from 18 months to five years. Local teachers and businesses supported the event, including Wal-Mart and McDonalds.
