Master Peace Officer Certification Reaches Terry County Officials

Dry conditions loom over Terry County planting season

Brownfield News reports April 6 1994 that Terry County faces a dry start to April with extension agent Dirk Aaron saying there is no moisture and dryland fields cannot be worked. Even irrigated land shows no moisture impact at two to three feet as producers feel the pressure and landlords question the situation.

Brownfield reports March building permits total 23765

The City of Brownfield issued 20 building permits in March totaling 23765, lifting the year to date to 192478 through three months of 1994. News wins awards at PPA meet in Amarillo

Early voting underway for runoff elections in Terry County

As of Tuesday morning 151 ballots had been cast for the April 12 runoffs with 147 Democrats and four Republicans. Voting ends Friday at 5 p.m. Willis’ office conducts early voting, with polling sites listed for Democratic runoff across eight boxes and Republican runoff at Brownfield City Hall.
