The Methodist Church sponsors a barbecue for the new parsonage. Rheman Motor Company donated a 780 pound calf from the Fat Stock Show at Katy for the event. Tickets are at City Drug Store or with helpers. barbecue runs 6 to 7 p.m. at Rheman Gin. Katy Rotary Club names Cecil Gordon and Arthur Miller as convention reps in Houston March 28 to 30 with Ray Woods and Albert Thompson as alternates.
