Alvin Glueck of Ellington Field and Miss Emma Ebel, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ebel, were married in a Tuesday county seat ceremony after over a year of courtship. The Times extends best wishes for their life together.
A patriotic county event under Waller County Home Guard will be a large family picnic in Hempstead with speeches music and other fitting activities. All county residents are urged to attend and keep businesses closed next Thursday. No invitation is needed.
The Registration of Alien Women closed Wednesday at 6 pm with only three registrations here. one additional applicant could not complete due to missing photographs. Rev. P. F. Nemec celebrated Mass here last Sunday.
