El Campo Youth Dies in Oil Field Accident
Eugene Nash 18 of El Campo died at Methodist Hospital Houston after an oil field accident west of Katy in Waller County. Two others Alton Cary 24 and George O’Brian 19, both from Houston, were treated and released. All were employed by T and L Drilling Co at Humble Oil Refining Co development well.

Max Wander Honored for 50 Years in Masonry
On Saturday night June 14 1969 Max Wander received a 50 year certificate at Brookshire Masonic Lodge 1066.
