Baptist Church Names New Pastor Fred Lieck
Members and families of the Baptist church held a barbecue at the church on Wednesday the 25th. Mrs. Edd Wirpitz organized the pit and seating, Legget cooked, and Mrs. Barnum prepared sauce. About fifty members attended and extended a welcome to Rev. Fred Lieck of Houston and his wife as pastor, with plans for spiritual growth in the community.
