W H Bud Hamilton Dies in Katy After Heart Trouble
W H Bud Hamilton, a Katy resident and carpenter for five years, was found dead in his room late Sunday. Dr J D Motheral cited natural causes. Funeral services were held in Wichita Falls with survivors including a half sister in Wichita Falls and a half brother in Beaumont. He worked with Walter Adcock and had many friends in Katy.

Mr and Mrs A L Short in Weekend Car Crash
Mr A L Short and his wife were injured in a Saturday automobile accident near the Brazos Valley Locker Plant after a truck from Brookshire crowded them off the highway. Their car rolled several times. Mrs Short has a badly dislocated left knee and both sustained cuts and bruises. They are hospitalized in Seay Hospital. daughter Exances Short traveled from Houston to aid them.
