Burglar Busted After Katy Store Break-In
John Wilson robbed the R Robertson store in Katy early Sunday, breaking a window with a rock and stealing shoes hats shirts and cigarett es. He was chased by J J Brown and R L Richter, shot at by Richter, and moved to Harris County jail after officers found fourteen number four shots in his hip and side.

Woman suffers sprain after Wednesday fall near KS hall
A woman tripped on the pavement near the entrance of KS hall Wednesday evening and sustained a severe sprain to her left arm. No bones were broken though she required care for the injury.

CWA Work Starts in Local Precinct Near Brookshire
Thirty men began the first CWA project in the precinct on a lateral road near Brookshire. D. N. King serves as foreman with six trucks hired for gravel. Workers will put in 30 hours weekly, eight hours on three days and six hours on the fourth. Additional PWA projects are anticipated in the same precinct.
