Texas voters repudiated the Fergusons by large margins and defeated R L Bobbitt, Moody’s appointee, by a wide vote. The piece urges support for Ferguson foes and the primary nominees, urging Democrats to honor their pledge in November.

Brookshire Miniture Golf Links will open Friday according to owner E P Cooper with partners Ed Horas and A O Muske. The Times wishes these young men success in their venture.

Leon G. Harrison defeated B. A. Cooper by 188 votes in the second primary last Saturday to win the 20th district seat. Harrison totaled 2369 votes to Cooper’s 2191.

The funeral for a local youth in Mexia honored by active newsboyfriends as pallbearers and All Mexia boys as honorary pallbearers. Immediate relatives survive including the boys’ parents, 31, and Mrs. J. B. Patty, plus five sisters. Dr George W. Davin officiated at Frat Methodist church with burial in City cemetery.
