R B Teachers Receive Summer School Degrees

Miss Alice Brainerd and Miss Miriam Fages of the RB group earned Master of Arts degrees this summer from the University of Denver and Northwestern University respectively. Brainerd added an education minor in radio work and her script aired on KMYR. Fages chose education as her major with a study on Physical Education facilities and improvements at RB. About three fourths of RB faculty hold masters degrees. others are pursuing them. Drama, dancing, radio and modeling are offered for all ages with student productions. R-B High GAA Group Draws 100 Members for Fall Sports

More than 100 girls enrolled in R-B high school's GAA fall program. Sophomores juniors and seniors play hockey on Tuesdays while all classes play speedball on Thursdays. Dues are twenty five cents per semester or fifty cents per year payable to Joan Fuller. New GAA officers include Nancy Olson, Nancy Smith, Joan Fuller, Estelle Tripet, Lucy Baria, Edna Malmberg, Donna Morton and Dolores Kozelka. Dolores Kozelka and Dolores McClane, RB's representatives at the leadership camp, reported on their week. Plans for social and athletic programs are eagerly anticipated by Miss Fager.

R-8 High French School Project Report

The report notes that last spring R B sent six typewriters to College de Jeunes Filles and 30 ten-dollar care packages to College Paul Lapie, adopted schools in France. Typewriters came from the school board and projects were financed by last year’s talent show proceeds. The Jeunes Filles sent a scrapbook to the school for the personnel office to be checked by student body memos.
