Annual Lutheran Security Convention Aims for Church Opportunities

Delegates from Lutherans across the area gather for a three day convention. Presenters include pastors and lay leaders as they outline opportunities and responsibilities amid widespread unrest and suffering. Hollywood Notes Bridal Shower and Local Events

Mrs Herman Jors of Hollywood Avenue attended a bridal shower for Elaine Bacon of Oak Park as she prepares to marry Jimmy Doig of Chicago on Sunday. Women of the Moose Elect New Brookfield Officers

Brookfield Chapter No. 526 Women of The Moose elected new officers for the coming year at a Hospital Guild night program May 23. Senior Regent Blinche Lande, Junior Regent Catherine Pierce, Chaplain Irene Gabrisch, Recorder Grace Woods, and Treasurer Olga Berlak were named. Mildred Lyons chaired the event, Irene Gabrisch was recognized for work, and Francis Van Darpe won the attendance prize. Refreshments were served by Hospital Guild members.
