Welfare auxiliary to boost aid for veterans' children in 1947
Mrs. Ruth Ziszik, welfare chairman of Edward Feely Unit, says the American Legion Auxiliary will intensify efforts for children of deceased and disabled veterans. The unit is expanding enrollment and activities for 1947, aiming to mirror prior WWII support for World War II children. A board meeting and Christmas exchange were held at Virginia Naval's home.
