The body of Nancy Lavina Jay Brodrick Marshall, born January 25 1863 in Grant County Indiana, died March 16 at Saint Charles Illinois aged 52 years 1 month 28 days. She married William Marshall February 6 1881 in Shelbina Missouri and had seven children. Funeral held at the United Brethren church Brook with Rev Robinson officiating. burial in Brook Cemetery. Survived by husband seven children George Albert Arthur Claude Dorsie Gladys. three grandchildren and sister Mrs Frank Huntington. She joined Brook United Brethren church at 13 then the Methodist church. praised as charitable and wise guiding many youths. Continuous notes mention library books and local notices.
