On Wednesday members of C. and F. railroad officials toured Brook stores to gauge food and clothing prices along their Indiana line. The community learned that 63 year old attorney Frank Davis was found dead in his upstairs office after dinner with friends. Witnesses reported he appeared fine before leaving the restaurant and entering his Lyons Hershman block office where Squire Hawkins found him unresponsive.
