The pupils of Mrs Helen Mills Ransmeier performed a second season recital at the M E B Church last Thursday. The crowded auditorium reflected strong interest as families returned to hear improving voices and refined expression. Ransmeier, aided by Mrs Paul Hanson at the piano, highlighted young singers from local towns and praised the method fostering natural vocal control.
The town board met on Wednesday evening and hired a new marshal Henry Deardorff who served for years in that role. Louis Bracksman will oversee the water plant. The board aims to cut expenses as there is not enough work to keep an expert busy.
George Ade and C C Wells will leave Belleview on March 10 sailing from Port Tampa to Key West. They may be joined by Carl Schuytler and C M Hoof. They will stay at Flamingo Hotel Miami Beach for a few days and reach Ponce de Leon Hotel St Augustine around April 10.

George Allis died Thursday evening at 6 00 at his Brook home after months of work in White Cloud Michigan He was born January 14 1856 in Canox Canada and moved with his parents to Cold Water Michigan later settling in Donovan Illinois where he married Mary Harrison February 12 1876 They had nine children Ada Dara Conn Hazel and six sons Arthur Warner George Forest Clark Benjamin plus 12 grandchildren His wife died August 26 1922 He also leaves two brothers and one sister He was a Christian Church member and known for hospitality The funeral was held Saturday at 2 00 pm at his home with Rev Snyder and Deacon Dismay assisting Interment was in Aad Cemetery All children except Warner in Topeka China were present
