Another Big Cattle Deal in Eastern Market

Brook livestock went to the eastern market as G. M. Lyons arranged a deal with BE L. Woodward of United Dressed Beef Co. New York. Owners sold cattle with average weights and prices per hundred, including YM. EB 19 W4IG at 7.25 and others from Alvin Thayer to Streight Farm, with bids ranging from 7.00 to 7.90 per hundred. Three carloads were bought from Hazelden farm and shipped Wednesday. O M Lyons’ judgment spurred this eastward outlet for quality cattle.
