The article recalls 18th century protests against dancing and modern worries about decorum, noting Musings from 1730 about Moll Patley and a London Spectator letter. It contrasts past and present bans on dances with a humorous moral about changing tastes and enduring human nature. It also features local ad copy for De Luxe Confectionery and Pratt’s Buttermilk Baby Chick Food.
