Health department seeks to increase days of manpower
In Austin Texas on September 14 Dr Geo W Cox state health officer urged Texans to cut total lost days from accidents and disease to bolster war production. He stressed personal hygiene nutrition rest air and sunshine and called for mosquito control and rat extermination to prevent malaria dengue and typhus as doctors and nurses are scarce due to war.
