Resolution Passed by Texas Relief Commission
A formal May 14 1984 resolution orders county relief boards and administrators to refuse aid to indigent families meeting relief criteria, asserting it is not the federal or state legislature’s duty to fund counties and directing counties to inform the commissioners of actions. Marie Dresden directs the commission.
