A A A Tests Cut Oil Costs by 23.5 Percent in Indianapolis
The A A A conducted four day oil tests at the Indianapolis Speedway using Ford Chevrolet Plymouth and Buick autos. A Gulf Refining Company oil with a 100 percent paraffin base and three extra refinements reduced consumption by 23.5 percent versus three popular brands. Results adjust for temperature and show lower operating costs for motorists nationwide.
