Burns Hosts Highway Crew Fish Fry Social in Abilene District
Mr and Mrs G C Burns hosted a Saturday afternoon fish fry for highway department foremen crews and families across the Abilene district. The gathering in Snyder and Big Spring featured a 75 foot table groaning with viands and fried fish, with many district officials and spouses in attendance to honor long service and promote camaraderie among the maintenance staff.
