Beranice Alsup and Mr and Mrs Bruce Alsup of Sweetwater visited Delos Alsup's home Sunday.
The Blackwell Methodist church will start its annual summer revival Friday night July 8, lasting ten days. Rev. Raymond Van Zandt of Stanton will preach, returning former pastor to lead the meeting. Pastor A J Jones and members anticipate a good gathering and invite all to attend and support the revival.
The Baptists will hold an all day conference at Blackwell Baptist Church on Thursday June 14. Pastor Dean and workers anticipate a good day of worship and fellowship.
Prof Roy Brey of Robert Lee urges voters to elect him county judge citing education in industrial education and commercial law. He holds a BA from East Texas State Teachers College, taught in Coke county schools, served as a machine gunner in World War I, and taught soldiers in Germany.
