Blackwell Scouts Advance at Local Court of Honor
Blackwell Boy Scout Troop No. 49 held a board of review and a court of honor in January. Second Class Scouts Ray Alderman and Terrel Burwick earned certificates and merit badges in woodwork and metal work. Scoutmaster Emmet L. Bryan spoke on the history of Scouting. VA classes plan projects to raise funds and stock poultry, with Purina offering a free electric brooder to classes with at least 10 boys and 2000 baby chicks.
