Delightful Weekend Visit To Pecan Community
The writer and H M Robinson and G A Best traveled to Pecan twelve miles west of Robert Lee to attend Sunday worship at the Baptist church. They noted a prosperous valley setting, met local families including the Brey and Schooler households, and heard a sermon while praising the community and pastor Carraway who has been ill. The trip included an afternoon singing in Robert Lee and a joyful time with local children and residents.
