The imprint indicates second class matter status at Bronte Texas mark March 11 1918 under the 1871 act. This archival line records postal handling requirements and date landmark for mail circulation during 1918.
Federal regulations set Texas duck season parameters covering stamps, firearms, boats, decoys, baiting, and bag limits. Hunters must carry a migratory waterfowl stamp, shotguns limited to three shells, rifles banned, row boats allowed as blinds, no live decoys, no baiting, and strict limits on ducks and geese. Season runs 27 November to 26 December 1937 with specific daily hours.
The Maverick school reports a multi grade Thanksgiving pageant with Indian and Thanksgiving themes. Grace Ann Burson led A Real Thanksgiving and Billie Jean Burson starred in Courtship of Miles Standish. The eighth ninth grade piece featured the Goddess of Thanksgiving Deanie Martin.
