Cameron Beam, longtime Bronte resident and former manager of West Texas Utilities in Wellington, died Friday from a heart attack. Funeral services were conducted in Vernon on Monday. He was a nephew of Mrs. Annie Wilkins.

Funeral Services Held For Jesse Hernandez
Graveside services were held for Jesse Hernandez age 20 months at Fairview Cemetery. The Bronte hospital reported his death Tuesday after a visit by his San Antonio parents Mr. and Mrs Antonio Hernandez. Funeral director was Clift Funeral Home. The family had arrived Sunday to work on the Renza Lee farm and survive by the parents and seven other children.
