Bronte to Buy Spraying Machine for Townwide DDT Use
The City of Bronte will share a spraying machine with Coke County and Robert Lee to cover the town with insecticide. Mayor H O Whitt said Coke County funds half the cost, Bronte a quarter, and Robert Lee a quarter, with the Lions Club underwriting the remaining $150. The total cost is about $2,145 and Bronte will contribute a little over $500, with first use assigned to Bronte.
