Bronte Chronicle of School District Moves and Growth
Bronte area history recounts early stock issues and a 1907 independent school district. It covers bond issues, construction in 1922, consolidation moves in 1931, and eventual Bronte Independent School District status in 1934 with curriculum expansion and 1981 vocational agriculture. Enrollment declines through 1950 amid rural exodus.
