Dam project eyed by Colorado River district leader

O H Ivie general manager CRMWD addressed 23 members and 11 guests outlining plans to build a large dam on the Colorado River near Robert Lee. He cited project size a 136 foot high dam 21 100 feet long spillway diameter 60 feet reservoir 489 000 acre feet 47 million gallons daily and 18 mile river back up. Cost about 14.1 million here total near 30 million with pipelines land rights highway moves and 32 oil wells to handle.
