Mrs Zell Moore hosted the Bronte Home Demonstration Club on October 6 with a roll call joke about sewing. A program on mending and rations was led by Mrs Truman Parker and a talk on the Abilene State School was given by Mrs Marguerite Gailey. Visitors Mrs Sarah McClelland of San Angelo and Mrs Vera M. Revelle attended. new member Mrs Floyd Brown joined.

Cattle Feeding Field Day At Norton Farm
A Cattle Feeding Field Day will be held at the Leon Frerich farm north of Norton starting at 9 30 a.m. on Monday October 25. Modern livestock handling methods from field to Harvestore storage will be demonstrated. Mr Frerich will discuss his operation and answer questions. A free lunch will be provided at noon. All interested in livestock feeding are invited.
