Judy Coe Crowned Queen Of Blackwell Carnival
Judy Coe daughter of Mr and Mrs Vernon Copeland was elected Queen of the Blackwell High School Coronation held Monday night in the school auditorium. Her title was Queen of the Mississippi River and Empress of the Court of Enchanted Waters. DuWayne Carpenter escorted her as King. both are seniors. The court includes a duchess and duke from each grade class and a princess and prince from each high school class.

Sophs Plan Work Day to Fund Queen Race
Sophomores organize a Saturday work day and bake sale to raise funds for their candidate in the Fall Festival Queen race on November 19. Supervised Play Program Planned by Coach Howard
Coach Bob Howard announced plans for a Saturday morning supervised play period for boys in 3rd through 6th grades.
