Longhorns Edge Roby Lions for 16 6 District Win
Bronte Longhorns defeated Roby Lions 16 to 6 in a District 6B game. The Lions led 6-0 early, but Bronte surged with two touchdowns including a fourth down run by Dee Arrott and a successful conversion pass. The Longhorn defense stifled Roby in the second half as Bronte pulled away and held the Lions to limited yardage. Visiting in Bronte were multiple Coalson, Joplin, Stephenson, and Coulson family members from Meadow, Eden, Abilene and Bronte.
