Funeral services were held Thursday at 3 30 p m in Robert Lee First United Methodist Church for Miss Iva Snead 76 born October 17 1897 in Peonia She died recently after residency in West Coke County Nursing Home since 1972 Married at 4 15 p m Tuesday in West Coke County Hospital Burial was at Robert Lee Cemetery under Newby Funeral Home care Survivors include stepmother Mrs J C Snead Sr of Robert Lee four brothers and nephews served as pallbearers She owned beauty shops in Fort Davis and Robert Lee and was a member of the church and the Bast Star.
