Coke County 4-H Clubs Shine in District Seven Contests
Coke County 4-H judging teams showed strong performance at District Seven contests. Junior livestock team placed second in a field of 15. Kerry Gartman was second high in juniors. Junior soil team also took second. members Cody McClure Donnée Grant Bruce James Bud Simpson. Senior livestock team included William Simpson Troy Millicom Marvin Simpson with several accompanying adults. National contest team from Coke County placed first in State win, with Alice Welker Lesa Lindsey Walter Flowers Troy Milken. The livestock team finished sixth in a field of 150 in ACC judging, missing first by 26 points.
