Bronte Graduate Delivers Seminar at University of Utah
Gary G Stroebel, Bronte High School and Texas Lutheran College alum, spoke to Utahs organic chemistry faculty and graduate students on Phase Transfer Catalysis Dichlorocarbene in Aqueous Media. His talk highlighted a newer method for generating dichlorocarbene with phase transfer catalysis and prompted a vigorous Q and A. Stroebel, son of A E Stroebel of Bronte, is pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Utah.
