The Texas Home Demonstration Association Club ladies of District 7 met at Sweetwater on February 8 for their annual training planning meeting. 75 women from 16 counties attended as district officers and extension personnel discussed T. H. D. A. rules and candidate introductions for district vice-president.
The Bronte Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star meets on the second Monday each month. Visitors are welcome. Edna Morrow serves as Worthy Matron and Dorothy Pruitt as Secretary.
Bronte Lodge No. 962, A F A M, meets on the first Monday night each month with Worshipful Master Royce Fancher and Secretary H O Whitt announcing the schedule.
