Funeral services for Mack Sliger 81 were conducted Monday at Blackwell First Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Jones officiating. A retired farmer born March 16 1878 in Tennessee he moved to Texas as a youth and settled in Runnels then Nolan County. He married Bamma Henson Sept 12 1914 in Hylton. Survivors include his wife two sisters Catherine Covah and Effie Huff of California. Burial in Blackwell Cemetery with Wells Funeral Home in charge.
