The Rogers family gathering at Bronte County Park drew 75 attendees including Lee Rogers of Crane and siblings Mrs. Willie Sweeney and Cyle Rogers of San Angelo A. L. Rogers and J. W. Rogers of Bronte. They planned an annual reunion on the third Sunday in June 1959.

Ivey Beth to Attend Lions Club Camp for Polio Victim
The Bronte Enterprise reports W W Ivey and wife take their 11 year old daughter Beth to Kerrville for a two week Lions Club camp for crippled children with special therapy. They plan a two week return visit and a later check-up at the Warm Springs Foundation Hospital Gonzales. Beth, stricken with polio almost two years ago, previously spent months at Gonzales before returning home to school. Douglas Thetford, son of Mr and Mrs W W Thetford, will attend the camp in July.
