Mrs James Phillips becomes worthy matron and James Phillips worthy patron as Hylton Chapter 884 Eastern Star installs officers last Friday night. Assisting officers include Mrs Wayne Caves Emmett Bennett Mrs Jim Morrow Mrs David Linn and others with Mrs Paul Cain of Sweetwater serving as installing officer and Mrs Herman Phillips assisting.
Sweetwater based group hosts visiting chapters Brownwood Blackwell Robert Lee Winters Wingate. Gifts to installing officers presented by Mrs Emmett Bennett. Chapter jewels awarded to outgoing matron Mrs Bennett and secretary Mrs Carlos Kinard for long service. Buffet supper precedes installation.
