New Tax Exemptions Odessa Couple Wed in First Baptist Church
Lucretia Burney and Rev. Johnny Michael Smith were married June 5 at the First Baptist Church in Odessa at 7:30 p.m. The service, officiated by Rev. Joe Al Bryant, featured a double ring ceremony, organ music, and a reception in the church parlor. The bride wore a nylon tulle gown with lace, carried white cymbidium, and attendants wore aqua satin dresses. After the vows, the couple planned a home in Abilene with the groom serving as pastor near Winters.
