Texas Official Highway Map Offered Free to Public
The Texas Highway Department announces free copies of the 1960 official Travel Map available by writing to Austin 14 or at district offices and travel bureaus. The map shows 1933 miles of multilane highways, 1500 miles of farm to market roads added, 20378 miles of state and U S highways, and 64 major lakes and reservoirs with new Buffalo Lake Champion Creek Lake and Lake Tawakoni. It includes 1826 cities and towns and city route maps for 12 large cities.

Miss Jackie Grimes Weds Don Gilbert in San Angelo
Miss Jackie Dell Grimes daughter of Lonnie Grimes of San Angelo and Don ald Gilbert son of Mr and Mrs W C Gilbert of San Angelo wed in a single ring ceremony at the Pentecostal Church of God at 8 oclock Saturday. The Rev Shipman officiated with Mrs Holdman as organist. The bride wore a white lace over satin gown and carried a white Bible and carnations. The altar featured white gladioli and fern. Maid of honor was Miss Mary Grimes and best man Harvey Gilbert. A reception followed at 825 North Bates and the couple planned a home on East Harris Street after a short wedding trip. Mrs Gilbert is a 1958 Bronte High School graduate.
