Davis Reunion Held at Inks Lake State Park
Descendants of the late Robert Hugene and Ellen Nora Davis gathered for their 11th reunion at Inks Lake State Park in Buchanan Texas. About 51 people attended the three day camping event. Three of the eight surviving children attended including Preston Davis of Bronte Nora Belle Coleman of San Antonio and Ailmia Jourden of Canisbad New Mexico.

A large crowd attended the Kirkland Robbins reunion at Bronte County Park. Descendants of Mrs. G. P. Kirkland and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Robbins, plus many out of town guests from Dallas San Antonio Fort Stockton and other locations, gathered for the annual event. Local and visiting relatives from multiple towns joined activities over the weekend.

B V Hedges 58 of Elfridiz Ariz died last Thursday in Douglas County Hospital after a long illness Services were held Friday in Elfrida at City Cemetery He was born July 1916 in Brumnell County He married Lois Gleghorn in December 1936 in Ballinger He was a farmer in the Brookshire community until 1960 Survivors include his wife his mother Mrs Clint Hedges two sisters Mrs Martin Stephenson San Angelo and Mrs Gordon Burks Crane two brothers R and Jcktie Halle Hedges and son of Elfinida

Vacationers Return From European Trip
Seven Coke County residents completed a 15 day tour of Northern Europe aboard a Dallas charter with 214 passengers. The group visited Stockholm Helsinki Leningrad Oslo Copenhagen and Bangor Maine refueled en route home, reporting a wonderful trip with beautiful scenery and many interesting sights.
