The WMU gathered at the First Baptist Church on January 23 with nine ladies present. Mrs. Shirley Mitchell chaired the meeting and Mrs. Eula Nabors led a Bible study titled Jesus Gives Guidelines for Ministry. McMurry hosts Student Weekend for Bronte juniors and seniors
Bronte high school juniors and seniors are invited to the eighth annual Student Weekend at McMurry College Abilene February 7 to 9. Activities include McMurry versus Texas Wesleyan basketball, the theater production Servant of Two Masters, a Radford Auditorium film, concerts by the band Chanters and Morning Star Singing group, and a dance. All departments’ administrators and faculty will meet students Saturday morning. over 300 students are expected.
