First National Bank in Bronte moves into a newly modernized office built by W D Collins of Denison. President T T Youngblood and staff describe the upgrade as a sign of growing community confidence and to match Bronte’s developing West Texas prominence.
The First National Bank of Bronte Texas installed new fixtures from W D Collins Bank Fixture Co of Denison in its sixth year of continued ownership. Richard Frank Sr led erection with 35 years experience, assisted by his son RSFL Frank Jr and others. The design uses Friendly Type with Golden Tennessee marble fronts, marble walls, marble shelves, and protective marble wickets. The lobby features Lime Oak doors and stainless steel gates, with tan tile floors and chocolate accents.
